Walking Route (Train Access)
Starting at the Totnes Train Station, which is handily situated on the main train line through Devon. There is a wonderful walk along the river that leads towards the Dartington Estate. Change to the cycle path once inside the estate, this leads to the Cider Press Centre, where there are some nice shops… Now we head uphill into the Estate, final stop the Farm. The walk is about 30 minutes long and is mostly flat (one short but steep hill) and all on well made paths. If you don’t want to walk there is a taxi rank at the train station.
Driving Route
If you have Satnav our postcode is TQ9 6EB (full address at the bottom of the page). Aim to go through the main drive of Dartington Estate, it’s distinctive in that it has a church at the gate! Pass Schumacher College, Dartington Dairy and the campsite on the left and Landworks and the cricket pitch on the right. At the top of the cricket pitch follow signs to ‘campsite parking’ and ‘Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship’. Our car-park is on the way to Sirona at the bottom of the row of glasshouses. The route in the picture above is starting from the main gate.
Bus Route
There are three bus’s that serve Dartington. The FirstGroup X80 and the StageCoach Gold both stop in the village, on the timetables it is called “Shinners Bridge”, you can follow the blue route to get to us from there.
The Country Bus 165 goes into the centre of the Dartington Estate. The green route is a way to get to us without having to walk on the main drive, it’s very pretty, taking you through the estates garden, and then down a footpath to us.
